The information entered into the on-line reservation form is then AUTOMATICALLY transferred to the Control docket avoiding any possibility of errors in transcription or misunderstanding in a voice message - this method can be followed 247 and provides an audit trial to avoid misuse or abuse of the facility.

Your on-line booking will be checked to ensure it is properly authorized before an e-mail is generated and sent to the person making the booking - copies can also be sent to department managers or the accounting department for audit purposes. |

The Control Docket information is then allocated to a driver via a PDA unit - this ensures that the details provided by the person booking are EXACTLY the same as are provided to the driver - this removes the potential for mistaken address's or lost special instructions.

All vehicles are tracked via satellite so that the location, speed and passenger status is known at all times - indicated by different shapes and colours. The precise Latitude & Longitude of the address is downloaded to the vehicle to use GPS navigation to take the driver directly to the location address

The zoom feature allows us to pin point the precise location of the vehicle very accurately. Vehicle #24 is leaving the Diamond Centre next to the Jim Patterson Building at VGH.
