Reliable PTS (Patient Transfers Services) are essential in contributing to the efficient use of resources - both staff and facilities. Not only must patients have access to Doctors - Doctors need timely access to treat patients and the ability to discharge those patients when treatment is complete in order to make the facility available to the next patient.

Hospitals, Day Surgeries, Rehab, Clinics, Physiotherapy, Extended Care and Nursing Homes all need to be able to safely, reliably and easily arrange transport for patients who have special needs.

• A Non-Emergency and Non-Medical PTS ( Patient Transfer Service) supported and approved by the Emergency Health Services Committee. See letter

• EXCLUSIVELY dedicated to Non-Medical Patient Transfers for those required to travel in order to access Physician Referred Services and who are unable to use conventional transit.

• Wheelchairs provided by SNT (collapsible) in ALL vehicles (Accessible and Regular) to assist those patients that need it to get to and from the Ward to the vehicle and the vehicle to their home.

• Door-to-Door service Our charge covers seeing the patient safely to their home or destination ( front door or hospital ward ) not simply the destination address.

• Is principally a pre-booked charter service - that can pick up / drop off anywhere within the GVRD pre-booked journeys 30 minutes or 30 days in advance. It is NOT a demand service but we would try and accommodate short notice if possible but priority is given to pre-booked journeys.

• GUARANTEED on time performance [ pick-up / drop-off ] on confirmed bookings. We strive to ensure that 95% of Pick Ups are within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, and give priority to time critical appointments.

• Response time for an Ad-Hoc call should be about 45 – 60 minutes on weekdays ( depending on availability) - but may be 60 - 90 minutes at the weekend when we have limited staff.

• SNT Vehicles are owned, operated and controlled by the company – drivers are also employed, trained and their work allocation is controlled by SNT. There are NO independent operators used in the service. See our vehicles

• Extensive training in transporting Medical Patients, those with disabilities, and the mobility-impaired traveler is mandatory for All drivers (male and female) See our training facility and their Dress Code

• All drivers are comprehensively trained by the company.

• Account based Only – Business to Business service drivers cannot accept payment or be “flagged” in public.- Account Application Forms

• $5,000,000 Comprehensive General Liability and $5,000,000 Automobile Insurance - major clients can be added as additional named insured.

• Service Level Agreements - We will enter into SLA's to ensure features such as
