Hospital Transfers provides safe, reliable Non-Emergency Patient Transfers for medically stable patients. Our specially equipped fleet of vehicles safely accommodates patients who require various levels of specialist assistance during Inter-Facility Transfers throughout the Lower Mainland of BC.
Wheelchair Transfers
For those patients who, for reasons of safety, are required to travel in a wheelchair while in transit. We will provide a wheelchair if one is not available.
Stretcher Transfers
For those patients who, for reasons of safety or comfort, must travel on a stretcher or who require a two-person crew to assist up or down stairs at the destination.
Ambulatory Transfers
Patients who are semi-ambulatory but who need assistance, are post anaesthetic, or have cognitive challenges and must be accompanied.
Family Escort
A designated family member may accompany the patient without any additional cost, if space is available in the vehicle.
Medical Escorts
A designated medical escort may be required in certain cases and may accompany the patient at no additional cost.
