The fleet comprises a variety of vehicles but mainly wheelchair accessible low floor mini vans adapted to the highest safety standard. Wider, higher, deeper than most other vehicles they can accommodate the large electric chairs as well as the manual models.

HOSPITAL TRANSFERS CA has been established to serve the local community throughout the Lower Mainland. We have become aware that the need for wheelchair accessible transport is rapidly growing and those using such services ere eager for improvements in the service and want more choice. With the guidance of those confined to wheelchairs and representatives from various support groups, we spent the last year developing an alternative transport service to meet those needs.

Within our transport fleet, wheelchair accessible vehicles will be modified to the highest standards in a facility with extensive experience in professionally converting approximately 600 accessible vehicles per year.

Will meet the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and the Americans with Disabilities Act

Crash Tested to meet all Canadian and U.S.A. Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS & CMVSS) to ensure the structural integrity of the vehicle has not been effected by the modifications.

Have full Air Conditioning both front and rear plus with radio / cassette / CD player

Industry standard hardware (tie-down straps, mounts, etc.) to secure the mobility device and passenger.

Fitted with a Satellite Navigation Systems, ensuring drivers are able to collect and deliver passengers promptly without the risk or losing time finding their way in unfamiliar areas, and are tracked in real time by our controller.

Our vehicles are discreetly badged and are seen as regular vehicles. There is safe and easy access for the wheelchair passenger by very low angle ramps and once they are securely in place always face forward where they can enjoy the company of friends, family members or support workers.
